Die Kultur In Berlin

about

This is a song I recorded about a picture I picked got from the Salvos on Errol st in Nth Melbourne. It is a poster for an exhibition in the 90's that depicts life in Berlin in the following years after the surrender of Germany. The picture on the poster shows a bunch of young German couple stripped down and sunbathing in the ruins of a couple of buildings. I wrote this song in the perspective of the young frau at the front of the picture with her parasol and her young man friend.

die vier besatzungsmächte und die kultur in berlin 1945 - 1949

lyrics

I'm just outside, my man by my side, I couldn't love it more.
That's alright, it's still heaven and i've been here before.
It's alright, It's still heaven and i've been here before.
I'm just outside, my man by my side, it's still livable.
It's still nice, it's still heaven and i've been here before

Nothing is wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing is wrong, I just see the sky more and more

I'm just outside, my man by my side, it's still liveable
It's alright, it's still heaven and i've been here before

Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
Nothing's wrong, I just see the sky more and more
